Birkenhead Community Church is young family church of around 200 in a thriving North Shore suburb seeking to employ two people to serve the mission of the church in relation to children and young people.

One role, either ‘Associate Pastor – Youth’ or ‘Youth Worker’ depending on the person, will be responsible for all our ministries that seek to serve and disciple those aged 11-18. The role is designed to be full-time but applications for a part-time post (3-4 days per week) will be seriously considered.

The second role, ‘Children’s Work Coordinator’ will be responsible for overseeing our ministries seeking to reach those children who are primary school-aged. This role is intended to be part-time and the number of hours available (between 10-30 per week) depends partly on the recruitment of the youth position and partly on the vision for the role.
